Reflections create patterns when the images are combined. These patterns mystify,
amaze, and attract the observer. My 'Relfection' series encompass a whole new technique of art photography. Each image was carefully photographed than transformed in my digital darkroom to a unique abstract
artwork.

This series was first displayed in New Orleans for the show, "Nouveau Artiste." The show was scheduled to come down on Sept. 1, 2005. Because of Hurricane
Katrina, it was not removed from the walls until late October. During this time there was aprox. 3 feet of water that had risen under the art, just inches from the lowest pieces. Mold and mildew
krept up the walls and to the celings. Miraculously, aside from the frame backings and the mats, the actual prints themselves survived with minor scratches and small marks of mold residue. I
cleaned the prints carefully but Katrina's scars are still visible on some of the prints. Their wounds are now sentimental reminders of where they once hung and the scars Katrina inflicted so many with.
